We dig deep and things bubble up from a depth we seldom anticipate. This is where real creativity comes from. When you are comfortable exploring this depth, you would be surprised by your potential.

Without a challenge that forces us to this depth, we would seldom be open to it. This is how difficult challenges serve us. We can either avoid dealing with these challenges, like most people do, or we can be open to explore this beyond-thought reality. It is really up to you to have a focus not limited to thinking, so appreciate the challenges you are forced to deal with.

Every morning we rush to work and sometimes just don’t have enough time for breakfast. We don’t even have a minute to realise that skipping breakfast we deprive our mind and body of vital energy. Breakfast is the most important meal and we need it to start a new day. It is necessary to eat carbohydrates for breakfast as they are the best source of energy and don’t convert into fat. During lunchtime we hurry to the nearest cafe and swallow the food almost without chewing because we don’t want to be late for work.   4. Don’t eat right before you go to bed, and after dinner try to do some exercises or to go for a walk.
  5. Try to eat light food for evening meals, so that your stomach manages to digest it before you fall asleep.

Sports – it’s not a secret but doing sports will improve your health. You don’t have to become a champion – doing some exercises every day will help you become more fit and have a positive impact on your mental health and mood. No doubt, you will feel much better after a short run or a workout instead of usual watching TV.

Human Body Energy Fields

The human body, composed of seven billion billion billion atoms, is often compared to a machine in that it has an engine, electrical system, movable parts, and a computer on board. Such an analogy ignores four essential body aspects. Ancient as well as contemporary literature has explored human consciousness, spirituality, and the concept of a soul. Within this exploration has been the following four generally non-visible body energy fields: the etheric body, astral body, mental body, and the causal body.

The etheric body, sometimes referred to as the ether-body or aether-body, is the first layer of the human energy field. It provides vitality and life to the physical body. It encompasses electromagnetic, chi, prana, and or Ki vitality. From a science viewpoint, it is composed of subatomic particles. The etheric body also attunes one’s consciousness to universal energy. Blue-violet color radiates from the etheric body. The etheric body is the same shape as the physical body.

Next is the astral energy field and it is generally posited between the mental and causal body energy fields. The idea dates back to at least the time of Plato. Some writers claim it is the spiritual counterpart of the physical body; however, Theosophists indicate the astral body is the link between the human nervous system and the cosmos. The astral body is an exact replica of the physical body and is the instrument of emotions. Like the other generally non-visible body energy fields, it extends beyond the actual physical body. Astral projection utilizes the astral body to travel to other dimensions. Finally, the astral body is a field of energy occupying the same space as the aura, but appears to have a higher degree of flexibility in that it is constantly reshaped by thought and emotion. The astral energy field functions as a vehicle of consciousness, which can exist separately from the physical body even though it is connected to that physical body.

The third body energy field is called the mental body. It presents an interesting challenge particularly in view of the quarrel over the location of the mind. It is believed this mental body energy field is located in the mind. Further, this field is the vehicle of thought vibration and enables the manifestation of the self. Healing at this energy field is stronger, longer lasting than the other three body energy fields. The reason for this is the suspicion that the mind energy field is all encompassing, that is, it exists everywhere in the human physical body

The causal body is the fourth body energy field. It has its roots in Yogic and Vedantic concepts that have been forged into some of the basic principles of Theosophy, esotericism, and spiritual mysticism. It is here that the soul—the spiritual soul that survives the physical death of the body, exists. Since the soul is energy and if one accepts the major premise of the Second Law of Thermodynamics that energy cannot be destroyed, it makes sense then, that the soul survives the death of the body.

We all have both good and bad mental habits. Mental habits are those habits that run almost imperceptibly in our mental background. They are our tendencies to think and do things in a certain way. When we have good mental habits, they help us to get what we want in life. On the other hand, when we have bad mental habits, they hinder us from getting what we want out of life.

Mental habits are not set in stones. They can be changed. By letting go or changing our bad mental habits, we can change our lives for the better. Sometimes, simply letting go of one bad mental habit can completely transform our lives.

1. Seeking Approval

The root reason why we seek approval from others is because we seek acceptance. And why do we seek acceptance from others? Because we have very little self esteem. We do not regard ourselves as good enough. We think our thoughts, values and ideas are inferior to others.

This tends to happen when we compare ourselves with others, and find ourselves lacking in certain things or areas which we regard as important.

It is important to realize that underneath all the external facade, we are all of the same essence. We are no lesser than anyone else. If you think that you are lesser, it is only because you have the habit of thinking so. You have convinced yourself, through your own negative self talks, that you are lesser than others. The reality is that you are not.

You need to recognize this truth so that you can work ourselves out of the negative mental habit of belittling your own worth.

2. Belittling or Criticizing Others

If you have the tendency to belittle or criticize others, you should realize that this is a symptom of your own inner insecurity. People with good self esteem do not often find it necessary to belittle or criticize others. Only those with poor self esteem do that as a way to boost their own ego, whether they consciously know it or not.

This is not the same as pointing out someone’s bad habits or behaviors in a critical but impersonal way where the focus is on the negative acts (bad habits or behaviors) and not on the person doing them.

3. Denials

If you have the habit of denying your own faults, then it is a reflection of your fear. What exactly are you afraid of? Each time you deny, you should make it a habit to find the answer to that question. Most of the time, you will be pleasantly surprise to find out that your fears are unfounded.

Often, we deny our faults thinking that others will not accept us when they know that we are imperfect. Just as often, we will find out that this belief is not true when we truly challenge it.

One big side effect of denial is that we refuse to take full responsibility for our thoughts, words and actions. When we do that, we often end up apportioning the blame to others.

4. Comparing Self with Others

Having a habit of frequently comparing ourselves with others is another symptom of a low self esteem and the need to seek acceptance.

We need to realize that we are not meant to live our lives like a carbon copy of others. We are each unique individuals who have different dreams and goals, and therefore there is no need to compare.

However, you can use other people’s success as a guide and motivation for your own goals in life.

5. Negative Self Talks

All of us have negative self talks. That is to say that all of us have doubts about our own self worth at times. This is normal as we are not perfect beings. The important thing is to realize that we have these negative self talks, and we should make the effort to cut down the frequency of these negative self talks. To do that, we need to bring these negative self talks to our conscious awareness. We need to learn to be mindful of their arising.

When we are able to cut down on our negative self talks, we will begin to feel more self worth and better self esteem.

So we need to move in order for our lymphatic system to be moved, so we can benefit from an efficient detoxification process.

There’s no doubt that exercise is beneficial for your physical and mental health, mood, productivity and longevity. If you don’t exercise on a regular basis already, then what are you waiting for? If you don’t do it because you dread exercise, then it’s important to find some activity that you really enjoy. Do you love yoga, dancing, hiking, tennis, swimming, spin classes, Pilates, cycling or lifting weight? When you’re having fun, it doesn’t feel like work. So instead of calling it “working out” you can rename it to “fun out”!

Some time ago, I wrote that the three things retired people worry about most is wealth, health and relationships. Speaking personally, I believe that wealth, or running out of money occupies the top spot on older retired people’s minds and health is a close second. Part of the reason is that advances in health care and changes in attitude have made it possible for us to live and stay active longer than ever. The big issue with health is to stay fit and strong enough to enjoy being active and keep our immune systems running at peak efficiency.

Fitness for older folks

Staying fit, that’s the problem. Being retired means you can sleep and work as much as you want. And it gets easier to sit on the porch as we get older. At my last physical, my doctor told me it was never too late to get active and increase my strength and stamina. He’s probably right.

Consider this; It’s not how long you’ve been alive that make you old, it’s the lack of activity and a good positive attitude as you age. Research has shown time and again that our sedentary lifestyles are harmful to our health and that active people enjoy life and age better with fewer health problems.

Even though you know this is true, you might think it’s too late to get active or be convinced that you can’t do it, but that’s not true either. Talk to your doctor about any restrictions you might have, then get active. You can enjoy sports and adventure. And we’re not talking about taking a casual stroll, light walking or gardening. We’re talking about actually increasing your heart rate and pushing yourself a little.

Swim

When it comes to health and fitness, it’s tough to beat the benefits of a swimming pool. Swimming is the best exercise when it comes to improving muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness. It’s easy on the joints, (which makes it an ideal choice for older people), helps increase flexibility, improves bone density and heart health. According to the CDC, swimming and other water-based workouts are safe and effective regardless of your age. I read one study that indicated that older adults who swam were 33 percent less likely to fall, a major cause of injury in older people 70. I’m not sure how they arrive at these statistics, but anything that increases strength and muscle tone has to help.

Lift Weights

If “weight lifting” or “going to the gym” conjures images of young body builders pumping iron, it’s time to rethink this form of exercise and look at the benefits that can be gained including confidence, better sleep and stronger muscles and bones. Articles on the CDC website suggest strength training can help relieve arthritis pain and lower an older persons chances of a fall. Weight lifting programs can be tailored to fit people of all ages and abilities. Strength training can be a safe and effective exercise for older adults but we have to be careful and not over extend ourselves when we start out. Check out some kettle bell exercises and use low weights to avoid sore muscles.

Hike

Or just plain old walking helps people connect with nature, keep moving and enjoy the benefits of being outdoors and interacting with other people. Older people are doing everything from charity walk/run events to tackling the Appalachian Trail. A well earned sense of independence is at the top the list of benefits for most hikers. Nature provides an escape from every day stress and encourages longer periods of activity than a walk around the neighborhood can. Other health benefits include better heart health, circulation, mobility and a reduced risk of hospitalization.

Join a Sports League

This one could be a little more difficult. But, if you don’t like exercising by yourself, the teamwork of organized sports might be just the ticket to better health. Adult sports leagues all across the country offer everything from basketball to softball. Whatever your sport of choice is, there’s a good chance you will find others playing in your area, so join up and reap the physical and mental benefits and make some new friends at the same time.

Yoga

If you are not into more active sports, yoga may provide the exercise benefits you’re looking for. While I haven’t practiced yoga myself, I do know several people who practice Hatha yoga. Taking the time to move through poses is certainly worthwhile in getting increased flexibility and stress relief. You can practice on your own with only a video as a guide or join a class. Yoga will help increase your muscle strength, improve flexibility and circulation and lower your stress level.

Does Eating Potatoes Raise Blood Pressure

Eating potatoes at least four times a week increases the risk of high blood pressure, scientists have found.

According to research, boiled, mashed or baked potatoes are nearly as likely to raise blood pressure as fried potatoes such as chips from the chip shop, or French fries, research has revealed.

Researchers at the Harvard Medical School believe that it is the polysaccharide ‘starch‘ – which makes up most of a potato tuber – is to blame.

Blood Pressure and Glycemic Index

Potatoes have a high glycemic index value. These underground stems quickly break down into monosaccharide sugars, which increases blood sugar levels. Over time, this may cause blood sugar problems.

The Glycemic Index is a ranking of carbohydrates in foods according to how they affect blood glucose levels. Carbohydrates with a low glycemic index value (55 or less) are digested slowly, causing a lower elevation in blood sugar. That means insulin levels will not rise and cause problems like type 2 diabetes.

The Harvard scientists analysed data from 187,000 individuals and tracked three large US projects over a 20 year period. The results suggest that women who eat potatoes regularly may be at a slightly higher risk of high blood pressure than men.

Overall, the scientists found that men or women who ate four or more servings of baked, boiled, or mashed potatoes each week had an 11 per cent increased risk of high blood pressure compared to people who ate potatoes less than once a month.

Those who ate fried potatoes like chips four or more times each week had a 17 per cent higher risk of high blood pressure.

Replacing one serving a day of potatoes with a serving of non-starchy vegetables led to a 7 per cent decrease in the risk of high blood pressure.

Corn, peas, parsnips, potatoes, pumpkin, squash, zucchini and yams are examples of starchy vegetables.

Non-starchy vegetables are lettuce, asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber, spinach, mushrooms, onions, peppers and tomatoes.

Eating potato crisps amazingly has no effect on the elevation of blood pressure, the scientists discovered, even when the team took the weight of participants into account. Now this is some good news about potatoes at last for a change!

In the end though, this type of study can only show an ‘association’ – not cause and effect. As Victoria Taylor, senior dietician at the British Heart Foundation says:

“Although a higher consumption of potatoes, such as chips and mash is associated with high blood pressure, it is still possible that other things being eaten, or lifestyles are affecting results.

“In the UK, white potatoes are not included in the five-a-day recommendations for fruit and vegetable consumption.

“A third of British adults suffer from high blood pressure, so it is crucial that we understand the condition and its causes.”

It is clear that we do not.

Your ego is an idol. You are not more important than God and the human race.

Your ego is extremely dangerous. It will ruin your life. Your ego is easily manipulated by your satanic anti-conscience because it is idiotic and proud.

Your ego must help you control your behavior because it is the center of your human conscience, but your ego must be transformed into a humble human being. It must not be a proud leader.

You have to become God’s servant.

You are too imperfect in order to decide alone what you have to do. Your civilization is as barbarous and as ignorant as many other civilizations of the human history.

Only because you live in a city and you know how to use your computer and many other things, this doesn’t mean that you are an evolved creature. You are not more intelligent than those who belong to rudimentary civilizations. You are not more intelligent than your ancestors.

You are merely an underdeveloped primate. The biggest part of your brain belongs to your satanic anti-conscience.

You have to become a perfect human being and help God transform our world into a place where we will be able to develop our conscience. You must help God put an end to terror and violence.

God shows you in your dreams the depth of your evilness and absurdity. You will be surprised with the content existent into the biggest part of your brain and psyche.

It is not the pith of an apple that is good for you, it is the coloured SKIN which is the best part. The colours of apples indicate that when you eat the pigmented peripheral matter, you consume lots of antioxidants and phytochemicals.

It is because of this that you should never peel an apple. The peel is the most nutritious part of an apple.

Apples are thought to be good for reducing the development of certain types of cancer. Studies from the American Association Of Cancer Research have demonstrated that the high flavone content of apples contributed to reduction of pancreatic cancer cases by 23 per cent.
