Make Too Much Pasta?

Make Too Much Pasta?

I made too much pasta when I made the  Baked Angel Hair Casserole a few days ago so I thought I should use it as a side with dinner tonight.  I decided to dress it up with stuff in my fridge and pantry.

Lemon Garlic Pasta w/Parmesan

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 1 minute

  • 2 T butter, softened
  • 2 t celery salt
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 1 t grated lemon peel
  • 1 T parsley
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/3 c Parmesan cheese

  1. Microwave the pasta just until the butter melts. Mix well, the butter helps the herbs stick to the pasta. Add the herbs, garlic and cheese, I added 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, didn't want it too cheesy 🙂

Very clever idea! I’m completely incapable of making the proper amount of pasta. It’s either too much or too little and I have to ration it out. Now I’m less nervous about making too much and I bet I could pull this off pretty easily. Thanks for the tip! - Jerusha,

Thanks Jerush! It really is pretty easy, just add butter and any seasonings and/or cheeses you like and viola! A pasta side!

I never thought about making this way either, Mary. It sounds like a great idea.
I love the herbs, the tea and cheese. I can almost smell it from here.
